The Philadelphia 76ers have announced they are investigating a wrestling report linking several Twitter accounts to basketball operations president Bryan Colangelo and uncovering a link to one of the leading online sports betting sites in the United States. In February, the ring was told that five Twitter accounts were secretly operating under the name "BryanColangelo," the son-in-law of Sixers general manager Angelo and father of former NBA player and current Sixers assistant coach Mike D'Antoni.
The source said some of the accounts were linked to former Sixers assistant coach Mike D'Antoni and beat reporters covering the team, and all five hit reporters covering them.
