The Philadelphia 76ers have announced they are investigating a wrestling report linking several Twitter accounts to basketball operations president Bryan Colangelo and uncovering a link to one of the leading online sports betting sites in the United States. In February, the ring was told that five Twitter accounts were secretly operating under the name "BryanColangelo," the son-in-law of Sixers general manager Angelo and father of former NBA player and current Sixers assistant coach Mike D'Antoni.

The source said some of the accounts were linked to former Sixers assistant coach Mike D'Antoni and beat reporters covering the team, and all five hit reporters covering them.

Joel Embiid and Ben Simmons are the players the fans see, but role players and veterans will be key to the Sixers' success. The Sixers are led by two of the league's best young players: Joel Embiid, who has been a matchup nightmare for much of his NBA career, and Ben, who is proving to be the rookie of 2018. Both guys have the ability to hold their own on the pitch and both are both role players and veterans who will be key to their success. While Emb Iid is more in the spotlight, Ben Simmons is the main playmaker orchestrating the 76ers' offensive line.

While the Sixers have blossomed into an Eastern Conference power, Colangelo has drawn heavy criticism from fans. When Okafor rejoined the 76ers on February 15 in Boston, he was criticized for creating an embarrassing situation for the second-year center.

The Sixers answered with a 7-0 run to take a 98-77 lead again, but it was two quick buckets by Ben Simmons that made it 117-103 with 5: 09 left and put the game out of reach.

The numbers suggest they have all been involved on offense rather than running many individual plays.
