Rhodes E Washington Middle School Reviews

i must agree Rhodes is a trying school. It really does lack the leadership it needs to be more successful. The teachers can only do but so muchb but without the help from the staff above the teachers the teachers are doing everything there self. Ms Nichols is a promising name for Rhodes she goes out her way to make sure the students are informformed as well as the parents. I have spoke to her on numerous occassions about my daughter's futere. I think she is a gift to the school. As far as the principle is concerned she is not a bad principle but she needs to be more involved with her teachers and well as the students

rhodes is a trying school we do have our issues but over all it is a great school to go to all the teachers are hard working and so are the students.

This school lacks the leadership needed to be successful in all accounts. I knew the test scores were low but as my district school, I was left with little options. The principal is 'too busy' to be informed, therefore parents aren't informed. She lacks the drive needed to motivate the teachers and to achieve excellence in the students. With the exception of Ms. Johnson in the main office and Ms. Nichols in the guidance office, the front staff is a laughing stock. This is my daughter's first and last year at this school and if not closed down altogether, I recommend the principal be removed as she is not an appropriate 'leader' for the 'Young Leadership School for Girls' as they so proudly claim.
