James Johnson Elementary School Reviews

Johnson Elementary School has such a dedicated staff. All of my daughter's teachers went above and beyond to provide her with the best education. As a educator myself, I recognize the implementation of 'Best Practice' in the careful planning, scaffolding, and clear expectations provided. Thank you to all of the incredible teachers in Johnson School!

this is a great school, the principal an the teacher are down the earth, my kids are happy and have learned a lot since they are going the this school.

There appears to be less rigor in the curriculum/programming/processing of it. A all ir not some 4th grade chorus was eliminated this year--with no announcement, no written notice. Parents no longer feel welcome at our school so there has been a strong reduction in parents volunteer because of this.

I am impressed with this school. My son has been going to James Johnson school since Kindergarten. He is now a fifth grader and we have had nothing but good experiences with this school. Each teacher he has had has been very helpful, caring and involved in his educational development. The school has a well rounded curriculum in addition to music and many after school programs.
