Our Lady Help of Christians School Reviews

The best decision I have made for my kids was to put them in OLHC. The academic program is great. The teachers are phenomenal! Both of my kids had some 'catching up' to do - coming from the public school system. But, everyone -- from the pastor, the principal, the staff, their teachers...even the lunch ladies, are involved. They care. They're 'connected' to each other and to us. It's truly been a wonderful experience. It's true. OLHC really is the place to be! And, as far the other kids are concerned, I think my 3rd grader described it best. He said, 'The kids here are nice! They're the kind of people you can be friends with even when you're mad or don't feel like playing. You know you're not going to be laughed at or picked on. . . It's like being home.'

Olhc is a great school. I transfered my child in at the beginning of the school week. And they have accepted him . The teachers are great and so is the principal. They have a open door policy. They have been working with me .Especially his teacher Ms. Posey

OLHC is the place you want to be! 2008 is great! Great Principal and great Pastor! The teachers have wonderful feedback and and are very attentive to the needs of each individual student. Parents are very involved and make up the core of volunteers. I can not say enough about OLHC! I am very happy on every level.

O.L.H.C is a GREAT school! I have several children enrolled there. The teachers are way above average and the parent support is fantastic. The only problem with our school is the Principal and acting Pastor. This is by far the worst Principal and Pastor we have ever had!! Hardly any parents nor students like the Principal. The pastor is even worse! Many parents contacted the Archdioses and the head Vicar in Montgomery Co. about them and nothing has been done! If you want to enroll you children, it is a great school but keep your eyes and ears open with the two of them.

This is a good school if your child requires structure and discipline. The teachers are excellent. If you have any problems you can always contact them. There is a lot of feedback and open communication from the teachers on your childs behavior, and educational needs. The only thing the school lacks is smaller size classrooms and more cultural diversity training. The school should implement more cultural awareness in the classes. The parent involvement is above average.
