Northwood Academy Charter School Reviews

The school is good. The teachers for the most part are caring and understanding. I wish they could offer more sports or be located in a bigger area that could offer the kids more space to enjoy the outside.

I love the teachers my favorite teacher is ms. kahl she makes me feel like she is my 2and mom and i want to thank her. this school is great i love it.

My son has been attending Northwood since they opened. He was an original Carnel student. At the public school, he was getting lost. Here at Northwood, they have taken the time to test him. They found his weak spots and attends a resource class each day for one hour. He has drastically improved. and it brings tears to my eyes knowing that my son was given a chance. and didnt become a statistic of the public system. Thank you to the creators of Northwood. I wish my son can go straight to High School with the same fundumentals and administration of Northwood.

Administrative feedback from teacher's is slightly below average

Love the school think it is fantastic. The teachers are top notch and caring. Great students, the only thing is i would like to see is the student ethnicty balance out.

I like this school because the teachers are nice and very caring about us students.

Love the teachers. I can honestly say that the teachers have expressed an interest in my son's development. This is my son's second year and both years the teachers have made phone calls to me regarding a personal problem. Having received these calls, I knew immediately that he was blessed wtih caring, compassionate teachers. Teachers who truly want to see him excel as he should. On another note, the administrative office could use some training courtesy skills. Especially, when you're dealing with the younger kids. I wish the school had an eigth grade. I wish the school had better sports for the students to participate in.

I have found the teachers at this school to be very helpful & caring. Since the first year I have noticed a lack of concern from the administration. There have been many times that I feel the administration has not supported my child or the teachers.

Both my son and my daughter attends Nothwood. I love it, it is an excelent school. Keep up the good work!

This year are my kids second year at this school. So far, I am very pleased with the efforts from the faculty and parenets. The faculty has a strong foundation for the kids and shows extreme interest in their education. The continous involvement of parents and teachers will continue to make this school stand out in the philadelphia section. This school is alson known for its discipline and structure in kids. Together we all can make a positive difference in our children lives.

this is the best school ever

great teachers and mentors who particularly show lots of interes in your child's education

I feel the school is off to a very good start. The teachers seem freindly & willing to extend an extra hand for the children. The principal is very good. I was surprised to see her get off of the school bus helping the children & showing real concern for them. I see quite a bit of parent interaction on field trips & meetings held.
