New Media Technology Charter School Reviews

My child is a senior and I have to say this school has come a long way. I was concern at first about the old school but the new building is awesome. Academics is getting more solid too and she was engage in structured projects last year with her class which we are proud of.

New Media is an excellent school. My son has been there since 9th grade and he is now a senior. I think the teachers there are very knowledgable. The new bldg at 8040 Thouron is awesome. They def needed the space and they got it! Congrats NMCHS ON YOUR NEW BUILDING!!

New Media is a good school. My daughter been there since the 9th grade and now in the 12th.

This school is absolutely awful. THere is no real concern for the children, their well being or general safety. Homework is sporadic at best and there are no books to speak of. The way some of the faculty carry themselves is totally innapropriate. This will be my childs last year at New Media and I will NEVER recommend this place to anyone

I love this school! My daughter is in the 8th grade and this is her 1st year at New Media. She came from the public school system and had some difficulty there with behavior learing in a class with 32 children. She has exceled in all subjects at New Media and I've seen her attitude change and her personality blossom. I would recommend it to any parent!

new media is great I have so many friends and the teachers are awsome

Before I sent my son to this school I read the reviews by previous parents. Unfortunately I didn't listen to you all and that was a bad decision. I have to agree with all of you. I dont know what my son is learning. He's been in school for three months and I have yet to see a test, books or homework. I thought because I saw the kids in uniform that the school was above standards. I cant wait until June. My son has to come out! No wonder he comes home everyday bragging that he likes the school. I guess I would too if I never got homework and anywork for that matter!

I think New Media is a disgrace. There is no consistency in this school. The work is a joke, my daughter hasn't learned anything all year. There is no communication with parents. I made a terrible choice sending my daughter to this school. This was her first and only year there. Please what ever you do, do not send your child here.

I am also very disappointed with New Media. It is not the kind of school that it was portrayed to be. The teachers come and go, there are hardly any extracurricular activities for the kids. I hardly see any homework my child has. When I call the school to leave a message for one of the teachers, my call doesn't get returned for weeks. The whole school is just very small(space-wise), very disorganized and very poorly run. I have just made a very bad choice when choosing this school.

new media tech charter school is a disappointment not just to my child but to me as a parent. My daughter is not recieving a proper education at the school. Teachers come and go, and the ones who are there are trying to be friends of the children not educators. My daughter rarely has homework and when she does it's regarding survey questions, tell me how she is going to be prepared for college. This school is not ran properly. I have been e-mailing and calling the school for a conference with my daughters teacher and no one ever replys. This is not a good school and the principle is not a good role model. Something needs to be done

New media tech is a horrible school. please do not let your children go there. it's dirty, they only have a little bit of teacher and tthe room is small. my advice 2 you is don't and i mean do not let your child go to new media technology charter high school

My child has been attending New Media for three years now, and despite a slow start, I am impressed with where this school is going. They started an individualized learning plan for every student in the school and my son is getting more attention here than he has ever received in public school.
