“I am a parent of a six grade student, and also my oldest daughter attended the school. The school is in need of serious help because the counslers lack poor communication with the parents. The school also does not supply enough help for the students if needed with their learning skills. The counslers are very unprofessional and in need of serious traning it has a good academic program but over all I will not recommend this school.”

“I attend WCCS and i feel they give you the bare minimum you need to graduate. I would not suggest this school.”

“World Communications is a great school, especially if you or your child is a prospective college student. This school may have their faults, just like ever other school in this world, but their academic programs fully make up for their minor problems. WCCS is a great school; they offer so many academic programs. They offer College class, for transferable college credit, at various colleges. I ve been taking classes at Eastern University and so far earned about two semesters worth of actual college credit. I ve also earned my Paralegal Diploma through World Communications at the age of 16.They also offer internships at many businesses/offices in Center City; I m currently doing an internship at City Hall in Philadelphia, and I love it. Because of WCCS, I am now fully prepared to attend any college of my choice! So, I would recommend this school to any college-bound person. C. DeVose, 2008 Graduate”

“WCCS is a great school, especially if you really want your child to go to college. They offer many opportunities to attend college. Communication between school to parents is lacking. They are not consistent with the uniform policy. The counselor at the school has very poor communication skills. The internship coordinator is superb. She makes sure students that are eligible for internship receive there opportunity.”

“WCCS has a wonderful staff for the 6/7 grade my son can't stop talking about the math,and science,english,and geo. the building is poor but the fact that there getting a new building is great. the computers are old but act like new ones. The fact that there keeping the children at and 80% or higher. Its a wonderful school.”

“The academic programs are great. The availability of music and arts isn't that great. being a student m self I can understand that. as well as the level of parent involvement is poor as well. The one thing about WCCS is that 'some' not all of there teachers just cant teach or control the class. I am a 9th grade student and learning from those teacher can be hard at times in which it shouldn't be. Another thing about this school is that the building is very poor. The 3rd floor looks better that the 1st and 2nd floor all together”

“My son is now attending WCCS. He has attended for the 6th and now the 7th grade. The teachers at WCCS are very helpful when it comes to my son's education. They try everything they can to help a student who's grades are dropping. They really go out their way for the students. I feel the education level is great. My son is challenged more at WCCS than he was at the neighborhood school. I think it would be good for the students if there were more physical after school activities.”

“My son attended WCCS from 8th to 12th grade. He graduated in 2003 as the valedictorian, captain of the basketball team and recieved two full scholarships to college. The academic program at this school made his first year of college a review and he was able to get a 4.0 GPA for his first year at the University of Maryland. If it wasn't for the teachers and the staff none of this would have been possible. He even came back as the key note speaker for the graduating class of 2005. I was and still am an involved parent at the school. I believe that this summer my son will be returning to World Communications to student-teach. I believe that this school can help many children in the Philadelphia school system.”

“My daughter has been a WCCS student for 4 years. when she first started there I was not so sure I would like this school. it was not structured at all so my husband said give it a chance.Well the school my daughter came from she was taught on a high school level and she was very bored when she started at WCCS so I brought this to the school attention and they have made changes so know all my daughter wants to do is go to school and she is doing very well. so I really recommend WCCS for children that are ready and not just the children the parents must be ready to make those extra steps in helping your child achive who no's them better than there teachers only the parents. Because my child is going to college and she will be a graduate with honors of WCCS.”

“My daughter was a graduate of this school and is doing well in her life. When she attended her I believed she was getting the best education possible. Throughout her 12th grade year she attended CCP and by the time it was time for her to go to Widener she already had college credits. The school doesn't offer many after school activities but they have an unbeatable internship program in the city. I was a very involved parent throught my child's high school career not because I had to but because I loved that she loved WCCS.”

“My son attended WCCS and is doing great. WCCS creates relationships with the staff, students, and parents, so that when a students fails to keep his/her grades up teh blame is not on the school. They provide opportunities for children to gain hands on experience in corporate america. My son attends Florida A & M University, my niece now attends Seton Hall in NJ, and my nephew attends Norfolk State in Va. They all attended WCCS.”
