Camden Academy Charter High School Reviews

I was a student at both camden promise and camden academy. Both of these schools help me with college and how to become succcessful in the real world, yes they are very strict when it comes to academics and the school uniforms but it is all worthit. Charter has helped me get through life from the friends i met the teachers i have known. No its not a big school, but the teachers and students make you feel as a family member. Mr.Jones who is the principal at cmadne academy charter high school he is wonderful and make sure both the staff and students are on point with everything has to be done. My favorite memory at cachs was hearing mr.Jones on the announcment every friday morning at 7:30 ' its friday' he would yell. I graduated from cachs class of 2008

I taugh SPED at Camden Academy HS. during the 2006-2007 school year. From day one, the administration was organized and class schedules were in place. Mr. Jones, the principal was fabulous he was always willing to listen. I miss the school now that I am living in MS. I learned a lot from my students. I learned a lot about Hispanic culture. It was truly a neat experience. The one thing that I would change...I did not like floating from class to class. You really never get settled into your own space. A lot of the books and bulletin board ideas that I had- could not be put up, because it was not my classroom. Other than that, it was great!

Hello, my name is Jesse M.Coltrane, former student and activist at Camden Academy Charter High School and Camden Promise Charter School. I can admit that this was the best school I have attended, because of the staff see us as a liability and not an asset. We all strived to be the best in what we do. And the staff honestly cares and not just want to push you through. Academically, when I went through we were the first to do anything, but it was a great experience. The school let me open up with no boundaries, letting me start my own mentoring program, helping other students through their struggles. They also motivated me to strive to be the very best. I wrote the school song, helped picked out the mascot, and much more. C.A.C.H.S is my love and my life, and I thank everyone who was engaged in this experience.

Hello i think Camden Academy Charter High School is a great school ,I went there for four years and I marched in june of 2005. The Teachers were and still are great people they are there for you whenever you need them, The teacher were willing towork with you but it was up to you to recevice what they were teaching. As far as sending your kids there I say go for it, you will see an major change in your child study habits and also their grades. Camden Academy has change my life in so many different ways and i just want to say Thank You Miss Ash, Mr. Jones,Mr. Mack, Mrs, Monroe, Mrs Rouse,Mr H, and the entire staff at Camden Academy Charter school Thanks

Not much of an extracurricular activity list but can go to wilson for some sports. I think the school may care a little more about reputation than about actually learning the material. As far as camden's schools are concerned it is a good school with pretty good leadership. More emphasis should be placed on basic math and english skills for those that don't have it. Parents are kept very aware of there student's progress and whereabouts.

At Camden Academy there are an okay amount of academic programs available. As far as sports go there arent many . They have a volleyball team available and a basketball team but that is about it. Not alot of parents get involved unless their kid is in trouble and they have to come to the school for a conference. I don't believe this school is the best option for a high school student planning on striving atheletically.

The academic goals set by the school are met on a yearly basis. The extracurricular activities are plentiful for the kids to choose from. The parents are highly involved in board meetings, and class trips. As a recent graduate, I highly recommend the school.

Hi, my name is Dianna which everyone calls my Snuggles,I really wasn't sure of this school when I entered in the 9 th grade. It felt as if we were used as test subject. As the years went by the years has approve. I wouldn't want to change anything over the years I've face. For the teachers that have taught us and were with us from the beginning, I thank you; you have taught us many things dealing with school and out. Since 9th grade I wanted the year to go by so I could on with my life out of high school. If it wasn't for the people who work at C.A.C.H.S college would have never been on my mind. Somewhat wishes that the years haven't went by so fast, but the other half is gald we finally made it. 'Class Of 2005' Dianna 'Snuggles' Pujols

My name is Kabria Satterwhite i have been a student since the 9th grade. This is my senior year and i am so happy this is my last year. I learned alot from my frineds i made and teachers. The teachers really understand and try their best to help you in any way. I will truly miss everyone and can't wait until our 10th year reunion.

I am currently a senior at Camden Academy Charter High School and I will soon be graduating within the next few months. I must say that I had my doubts when I first entered this school in the 9th grade. Back then it wasn't the best learning environment, but Camden Academy has come a long way, and so have I. I would definitely recommend this school to any student that is striving for a successful career and willing to accept the task and preparation that Camden Academy provides.

I am currently a senior at Camden Academy and this is the best school for me to be in. I have been here since the 6th grade and I have enjoyed every minute of it. The atmosphere is strictly educational and preparing for success is the main goal. I would encourage any students looking to get ahead in life to seriously consider this school.

This school is great. I have 2 9th graders in this school. They have been in Camden Promise since the 6th grade and it's been a wonderful experience for them as students and myself as a parent. Teachers and Principals and dean of students are wonderful. Keep up the good work. The name says it all. Camden promise, Promises to keep Camden children with better education.

I am currently a student at this high school. I am going to enter the school as a senior next year and I feel that this school was a good place for me to grow up in. I have been at this school since eighth grade and it has really shown me the true meaning of learning. I belive that many kids should experience a sheltered school life just as I have.

Hi,my name is Sheyla Maritnez, I attended C.A.C.H.S. my freshman year, and it was honestly one of my best high school year yet. The reason to why I transfered was because I wanted to know what it would be like if I was in a bigger school, with a real high school feeling. But I really regret leaving and i want to go back. The teachers in C.A.C.H.S really do care. They helped me out in so many different ways, and the education level was incredible. I learned so much there. The environment was safe and I had alot of fun. The teachers and priciples really care about the children and do what best for the kids not whats best for them. I hope to go back next year, and I hope that C.A.C.H.S will keep on prospering in being one of the leads schools for the city of Camden.
