Delran Intermediate School Reviews

I am dissapointed in the Intermediate school. They send home a bully policy in the beginning of the year for parents to sign and there is no follow through.

This school needs help. They send home a bully policy in the beginning of the year for parents to sign and do nothing to follow through with it. The staff is unprofessional about helping parents who need help. It is easier for them to blame it on the kids and then no repramand is given. I feel bad for the kids in this school who get bullied and nothing gets done about it. It seems to be happening more and more these days at the Intermediate school.

I love this school...especially the Assistant Principal, Mrs. Horn. She had to discipline my 4th grader and she was so fair and loving. She called me and I was so embarrassed, but then she connected with me as a Mom. She made me feel good even though my kid had to get consequences. Also, Mrs. Horn makes school fun. I remember seeing her dressed like Santa around Christmas and all the kids called her Santa Horn!

I agree with the parent about the principal of DIS. She's magnificent, my son attend 5th grade only and his grades sky rocker and he actually loved going to school. Now with the preparation giving to him. His ready for Middle School in Sept and really looking forward to a new school year. Thank you Mrs Goodwin and Mr Farrington for the well care of my son. Continue the great work. A very proud mom

I go here and it is a great school to go to. I can learn and have fun at the same time. Everyone respects others!

My child is only in 3rd grade so she has not participated in all the extra-curricular activities yet, but the new principle is such an improvment over the one at Millbridge and the school always seems to be on top of things. My child is learning a lot and can't wait to go to school each day. I think the academics are handled very well and there is a great PTA.
