Experimentation with various techniques and materials intrigues me. This one of a kind piece is a double-sided collage, best viewed by natural illumination from behind. Once completed, the title emerged from the daunting task of creating each individual leaf from imported papers used. Oftentimes stumbling upon a desired result requires a tedious process (the leaves in this case). So, at 3:30 a.m., I questioned “just home many of these %*&!?$&#!! Leaves have I committed to create???? Answer: 251 Leaves.
