Nature nurtures and inspires me. I combine elements of nature with texture and design along with the magic of the press, creating pieces of art. Images, mementos, photographs, bits of leaves or other found objects from travel as far away as Ushuaia, Patagonia or as close as my backyard inform my work. I am intrigued by memory and what stays with us. Which souvenirs will be found after many years? What remains in our mind’s eye? What relics survive the test of time? My work reflects what I remember from previous travel and bits and pieces of almost forgotten experiences. I am creating personal memoirs.
