It seems as though many of today’s bands are either content to reinvent the musical wheel or are so consumed with originality they have largely forgotten just how to make good music :::: good music :::: Bands as such usually end up just another xerox of the regurgitated marketing gimmicks that clog the toilet that is the music industry. Usual licks for usual kicks. But that's exactly where the usual suspects end and the Lolo begins…..

Narco Lolo is a band that understands that music’s not for mimicking nor a math problem but a feeling :::: one to live and die by. A mix of prog-rock, indie, funk, acoustic, metal, experimental, and the list goes on… Narco Lolo is what happens when polar opposites collide in a beautiful display of organized chaos as each member brings unique perspectives to the table. Ash Kernen, the Hopeful Soulkid that leads the band, has a true passion for rock n' roll that’s rooted in emotion with a mission to save and/or conquer the world (whichever comes first). Ant Phillips plays blistering guitars full of vintage tone while pumping out melodic solos and viscous leads. Psychafunkalicious bass lines are imparted by Steve Holliday as he lays down grooves that come in two flavors: slap and thump. And finally, Joe C. holds down the bands backbone with banana beats, quick fills, and double bass kicks in places to make your head spin.

When you're done reading this you MIGHT feel compelled to listen to a few of the band’s songs. And upon listening, you MIGHT feel compelled to say one of a few things: "ehh....it ain't for me" or morelikely, "Wow these motherf*ckers rock!” Love us or hate us, we’re here to set fire.
