A Good Hotel

That's exactly what it is. A good hotel in a good location. The staff was accomodating to my early check-in and the room was clean and well appointed. The bed was extremely comfortable (evidenced by my 2 hour nap). The designers of the hotel seem to be very fond of marble, not that there's anything wrong with that. One very important positive is that they have a garage directly under the hotel, so they can have your car ready in seconds, not 30 minutes like some other Center City hotels that shall remain nameless. I stay in Philly 5-6 times a year and I think I would return to this hotel in the future.
Pros: Location, Staff, Parking
Cons: None

The lobby and staff of the hotel are great. However, we had a negative experience from the beginning that was not completely fixed. Our bed sheets were wet when we checked in. Housekeeping tried to fix the problem, but still they were wet again that night. Otherwise, the food, front desk service, and general furnishings were high-quality. I expected free internet service, more up-to-date paint, and more attention to small details than we received, given the overall ambience and price of the Westin.
Great Hotel!!! Will definitely go back

We've stayed here several time... the place is beautiful, the bed/sheets are great. You can tell this use to be a Ritz. The staff is nice. No complaints.
An unappreciated bargain?

This hotel was previously the St. Regis, but it was built as a Ritz-Carlton. Their attention to detail shows in the architecture and the room layout. Add to this the Westin's Heavenly Bed and Heavenly Bath and you've got a perfect hotel.
I've never had any problems with the staff, but I might not have asked for much. No problems with late check outs, and I've always gotten a terrific room rate.
Location is also terrific - attached to Liberty Place and easy walking distance to everything (or a $5 cab ride from almost everything else).
