Philadelphia artist Clay Johnson is most known for his landscape paintings of Valley Forge and the Schuylkill River. After earning a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree from Northern Illinois University, he moved east to study at the Pennsylvania Academy of the Fine Arts. Settling in the Manayunk area of Philadelphia, Johnson continues to paint landscapes, on site, throughout the region. Limited edition giclee prints are available of some of his images.
